Tropheus duboisi is a species of cichlid fish from Africa. There spread over Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia with their natural habitat are freshwater lakes. This genus of Tropheus is certainly the most popular among hobbyists.
T.duboisi does well in groups of around 10 single species to an aquarium. This will limit their aggression. There known to have a preference for a vegetarian based diet. Sadly this fish has appeared on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. They have been categorized as Vulnerable D2 ver 3.1.
