Uruguayan cichlids are more popular than ever. This country is host to a beautiful variety of tropical fish including cichlids. In particular the genus Australoheros. Red Ceibal cichlids are fantastic South American cichlids which are very colorful and relatively easy to spawn. They make great parents too. Check out the video below to see them in action. This cichlid is reminiscent of the Chancito which was formerly called Cichlasom facetum back in the day. The Australoheros n. sp. "Red Ceibal" is even similar somewhat to Australoheros oblongum its relative. These cichlids make a nice addition to a cichlid community tank.
