German bred Geophagus Redhead Tapajos available in stock
Geophagus sp. Tapajos 1 - Red Head
Redhead Tapajos is a beautiful species of Geophagus which entered the hobby in the early 1990’s. As a delayed mouth-brooder these cichlids are both intensely colored and very interested to maintain and enjoy. For a fantastic account of these fish you must read an article by Klaus Steinhaus titled Geophagus sp. ‘tapajos red head’: The fish that changed my mind to really appreciate these wonderful fish.
We received gorgeous, adult, German bred specimens of this Geophagus, which is probably the most colorful species of Geophagus at all. Currently the fish are 10-14 cm lang and in a top condition.
