Madagascar. In fact this particular cichlid, Mangarahara Cichlid, is so rare that there are only three known individuals left in the world and their all males. The actual name of this species is
Ptychochromis insolitus and you can read more about at the

The original Mangarahara Cichlid painting is in ink, watercolor and goache on paper toned with both tea and blue ink. This listing is for the second print of a limited edition of fifty prints at this size. Another edition of the same quantity will soon be available as 11x14 prints.
