Colisa fasciata known as the Banded or Striped Gourami
Banded Gouramis are an aquarium favorite and there no surprise people fancy this tropcial because their beautiful and peaceful.
The Striped Gourami will make a bubble nest when it is ready to spawn, and will weave bits of debris in the nest. Male Colisa fasciata are dramatically more colorful, have a pointed dorsal pennant, and are more slender than females.
We received breathtaking beautiful specimens of Colisa fasciata from Singapore. This species is an ideal tank mate for nice community tanks with small, peaceful barbs, minnows etc. and a dense plantation.
