Panda loaches are striking and there is no surprise they call they Panda, and it’s a coincidence that
Yaoshania pachychilus, the panda loach is indigenous to China as are Panda bears. Interestingly this species is only found in mountain streams in Jinxiu County, Guangxi Zhuang in China considered an Autonomous Region of Southern China. These wonder loaches reach nearly three inches in length and display amazingly crisp black and white juvenile patterning, hence the name Panda.
