Flower Horn cichlids are different. Opinions differ on this question. In Asia this cross of different species of large Central American cichlids is very popular, in Europe there are often prejudices against these "unneeded hybrids".
It doesn´t matter if one likes or dislikes these fish: they are splendid and very vital cichlids. Like all the large Central Americans they need very spacious tanks, otherwise they will be quite aggressive against tank mates. However, they can be also kept in medium sized single-fish-tanks of about 120 x 60 x 60 cm.
We don´t have Flower Horn stocked on a regular basis, but order them only very occasionally if one of our customers wants them. This is the way the photo-pair reached our facility. It left us soon after the quarantine and transferred to one of our wholesalers.
