For the first time ever we can offer this beautiful Corydoras. It originates from the Rio Negro basin in Brazil. A bright green shine on the flanks of the body is very obvious, especially when the light falls from ahead on the fish. This species attains a maximum length of about 6.5 cm.
Females grow larger and are more full-bodied were as males will typically have more pointed as opposed to more rounded fin tips as they mature.
Corydoras crimmeni will accept a wide range of commercial foods including tablets, granules and flakes. Both live or frozen foods including as bloodworm, white worm, grindal worm, Daphnia and tubifex are eagerly accepted.
